Meet Our Founder

Jack grew up in a small town outside Cincinnati, the son of a Japanese-American family with deep roots in traditional craftsmanship. His grandfather was an old-school blacksmith — a man who believed that a well-made blade was a reflection of its maker's soul. From an early age, Jack spent countless hours in his grandfather's workshop, developing a fascination with knives that never left him.

After graduating, Jack turned that lifelong passion into purpose and founded Huusk. Years of relentless dedication to the craft followed — sourcing the finest materials, refining designs, and building a team that shared his standards.
